For those of you who didn’t notice I turned 30 a few days ago. My parents insisted on getting me a present of some sort so I told my father he could buy the TIG-machine we have been both thinking about. I of course don’t have a shop to work at in Oulu so I’m happy to have share my tools with my father – maybe it’s the other way around. Anyway, I heard there’s a TIG machine in their garage now and I have very little clue on how to use one. <\/p>\n

I have been watching this excellent instructional video by Miller and Ron Covell<\/a> about TIG welding basics. I highly recommend it if you’re interested in the subject.
